I can do ALL things…

I’m a dreamer. I love to just dream about random things. Sometimes my dreams are really far fetch. I’m learning that that is okay. Today I heard my pastor talk about Philippians 4:13 where it says “I can do all things through Christ”. He talked about a lot of things that I never thought about. I truly can accomplish all of the dreams I have because I have Christ. This is the mindset that I want to live by in 2013. I want to stop doubting my future, my passions, my abilities, my character, myself and most importantly my God.

“With out Me you can do nothing” -Jesus

To believe that I can not accomplish or reach a dream is to believe that I am apart from Jesus, something I never want to be. So everytime I say that I will do nothing or I can’t do something I am removing myself from my Lord and savior. To live with God means that you will accomplish things. The dreams I dream were given to me by the creator of the Universe. He knew exactly what I needed to be created for. To say that I can do nothing is to strip my very being of my purpose and destiny that I was created for. It’s like telling God that He shouldn’t have created me and He did not know what He was doing when He gave me that purpose. How rude is that?

So what will life bring me in 2013? It will bring me strategies to accomplish my dreams. It will bring me a new mindset that works towards my dreams not against them. It will bring courage that enables me to stand in front of my fears and crush them.

I will now only think, “I can”.
